After work as a science teacher and a laboratory scientist, Nora Galvin started a genealogy business in 2005 specializing in Connecticut and Irish research and genetic genealogy. She is editor of the genealogy journal Connecticut Ancestry which covers Fairfield County. She lectures on numerous genealogy at meetings, libraries and conferences.
